"Perceptual Bodywork/BodyTracking": professional kinesiology training

Courses for 2017/18.

Perceptual BodyTracking Professional Kinesiology Training with Judith Hart, Woodbury Salterton, East Devon, starting November 24-26

Perceptual BodyTracking Part 1

Professional Creative Kinesiology Training

Part 1, the tutored aspect of the professional training, gives you the confidence to work deeply with the body and bodily symptoms, as well as nutritional, emotional and spiritual difficulties. It focuses on expanding your senses so you can drop into a witnessing space and listen to the body at a deep level. You will embark on your own inner healing journey as you learn to become the tracker, the instinctive body detective helping to support another person through a healing process.

Muscle-tracking: Students develop their tracking skills, and learn how to become a professional body detective, using the tool of muscle-testing to investigate and access the body’s wisdom and truth. Students develop the muscle-tracking skills learned in the Foundation as a way to access the body’s inner wisdom and discover how to listen to what is being said through symptoms or problems. After listening to the story behind the symptoms, you will learn how to track to where stress or trauma is held within the body and release it so healing can occur.

Witnessing, listening, hearing: Deepening listening and witnessing skills are an integral part of this training. As we seek to expand the extra senses and deepen perception, we learn to listen to the rhythm and pace of each person’s body, whilst allowing the body’s story to be heard. Students will learn how to “hold” a healing space for another person so that the process of change may happen. In this way, participants are encouraged to develop a deeper relationship of trust with their own body, as well as their inner wisdom, instinctual knowing and healing abilities.

Body relationships: A key aspect of this training is the building, strengthening and making of relationships between different parts of the body. Certain aspects may have become disconnected or separated from the whole, causing imbalance, pain, trauma or difficulty. An invaluable method of forming body relationships is the simple and powerful tool of “Two Pointing” (introduced in LifeTracking). You will experience taking this tool to a much deeper level in order to re-establish connections within the physical body and the energy systems.
Techniques include:

  • Cloacal Synchronisation
  • Pitch Roll & Yaw
  • Lovett Brothers
  • Cranial Two Pointing
  • Pelvic Re-sets

Balancing, bodywork & healing methods: Whilst witnessing and listening skills are perceived as prime healers, Perceptual Bodywork also holds some wonderful bodywork and balancing methods that help heal body, mind \ and soul, derived mainly from Applied Kinesiology. Students will experience the powerful healing tools and techniques that address the body on all levels. The embodying of this material will help participants gain the confidence to embrace and work with the symptoms of aches, pain and discomfort experienced by many people in their daily lives.
Techniques include:

  • Ileocaecal Valve Digestion Technique
  • Muscle Fatigue
  • Frozen Shoulder
  • Cranial Balancing
  • Jaw Tension Release
  • Carpal Tunnel / Repetitive Strain Technique
  • Hiatal Hernia Syndrome
  • Shock Absorbers Release
  • Adrenal Stress Release

The energy body: The energy of the physical body is addressed by listening and witnessing the energy within the muscular system, the bones, the joints and the ligaments. We also work with subtle energy: here you will enter the world of the energy field and the aura, connect with and deepen relationships with Chinese 5 elements and meridians, as well as making a fascinating exploration into ancestral energy. This will involve the healing and balancing of The 8 Vessels - the Extra-Ordinary Ancestral Meridians.

Techniques include:

  • Aura Awareness & Centring
  • 5 Element Meridians & Properties
  • Yin/Yang Energies
  • The 8 Extra-Ordinary Ancestral Meridians
  • Availability of Energy
  • Acupressure Healing Points

Realms of the body: The Perceptual Bodywork course allows you to take a journey into the many realms of the body, including the physical, nutritional, emotional, energetic and spiritual. Self awareness and personal growth can be enhanced as the story behind a person’s symptoms comes to light,and the body is able to release stress that may have been long held through trauma, accidents, illness, difficulty or periods of stress in our lives. The body can still hold stress long after it has been dealt with on a mental level and such release can bring renewedharmony to the mind, body and emotions.
Techniques include:

  • Postural Stress Release
  • Blood Pressure Technique
  • 5 Element Emotions
  • Retrograde Lymphatic Technique
  • Nutritional Balancing
  • Vivaxis

Home study: Personal sessions are a requirement of this course - a minimum of two sessions to be received between each module of the course, as well as a special series of six weekly or fortnightly sessions taken at some point during the course, 40 case studies, book review, self reflective journal, creative project, home research & background reading.

Parts 2 & 3 of the Professional Training

Length: 20 days plus practical Assessment. Successful completion plus all homestudy leads to a Certificate in Creative Kinesiology, recognised by both the Creative Kinesiology Association and the Kinesiology Federation of Great Britain.

With this Certificate, you can start practicing immediately with the general public and charge for your sessions, as an "assessed" practitioner using the letters (CKAP) after your name. You have a 3 year period to complete the following in order to gain full professional “registered” practitioner status (CKRP). "Core subjects" in:

  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Nutrition
  • Anatomy & Physiology
  • Practice Management

Plus:

  • 200 sessions of professional clinical practice
  • 4 mentoring sessions per year
  • 4 personal sessions per year

This leads to the complete professional status.

Recognition: The course is officially recognised by Creative Kinesiology Association and the Kinesiology Federation of Great Britain.

Entry: is open to anyone who has completed a full foundation course in kinesiology. We recommend Creative Kinesiology’s LifeTracking Foundation. Touch for Health or other equivalent kinesiology foundation trainings are welcome. In these cases you will need to complete a short bridging course in the Creative Kinesiology body-tracking approach fundamental to our professional trainings.

Assessment: is continuous by peers, trainer and self. A final practical assessment is made at the end of the course by an outside assessor.

Mentoring: is included as part of the training course.

Confidentiality: an ethical requirement for practitioners, is also part of the training course.

Perceptual Bodywork Part 1

Perceptual Bodywork is also a professional kinesiology training that offers the opportunity to undertake a healing journey through learning simple and effective adjustments to the physical body and the electro-magnetic energy, as well as exploring various other approaches derived from Applied Kinesiology. The focus of this training is to learn how to heal the body through developing and using the higher senses.

Within Perceptual Bodywork the focus is on self responsibility and total respect for every individual’s journey in life. The course itself provides the means for each person to take further steps in their own self-awareness and growth process. This is encouraged in the group setting during the training course itself.

Course Syllabus includes:

Opening the senses – introduction to the nine body senses

* Electromagnetic dynamics
* Eight Ancestral Meridians
* Fascial dynamics
* Structural dynamics
* Healing dynamics
* Cranial dynamics
* Nutritional dynamics
* Emotional dynamics

Throughout the course, the focus for learning is on increasing sensory awareness and developing the supra sense, as well as development of professionalism and creativity in the giving and receiving of techniques.
