Teaching Perceptual Bodywork

Perceptual Bodywork is the other of the Creative Kinesiology School’s Professional Training courses. If you would like to become a Perceptual Bodywork teacher, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Kinesiology Federation Advanced Registered Practitioner (KFRPAdv]
  • Practised as a professional Kinesiologist for a minimum of 5 years
  • Have taught at least 2 full foundation level courses - TFH or LifeTracking
  • Have a Perceptual Bodywork certificate
  • Repeated Perceptual Bodywork Professional Training Course and completed the homestudy requirement
  • Have undertaken practice teaching sessions when you repeated the above course, this being assessed by the trainer
  • Touch for Health ITW teacher training course or completed the CK School's Presenting Kinesiology course
  • Completed Group Work Skills course
  • City and Guilds CTLLS teaching certificate
  • The permission of the Head of the CK School to begin teaching Perceptual Bodywork
  • Any further training deemed necessary by the Head of the School of Creative Kinesiology
Please note the above requirements allow you also to apply to be registered as a recognised trainer with the Kinesiology Federation (KF) and so be listed on their website. It is the responsibility of individual trainers to apply to the KF for recognition.  A letter of application to the KF that includes information about experience, qualifications plus any relevant certificates is required.  The KF states that each application will be considered “on its own merit” and that “there is some flexibility which will allow existing teachers who do not fit the above criteria, but with substantial experience, to apply.”
