Ali Ashby ACKRP - Exeter, Devon

I discovered Creative Kinesiology in 2001 and was amazed by being able to converse with the whole person through using kinesiology muscle testing to gain feedback directly from the person’s body.  This, combined with the Creative Kinesiology maps and balancing techniques, offers a truly holistic approach to natural health care.

Having completed my training in ‘Way Of The Tracker’ (2003) and ‘Perceptual Bodywork’ (2004), I qualified as a Registered Professional Practitioner in 2006.  I bring my background in Psychosynthesis Therapeutic Counselling, and spiritual practice of working with the Native American Medicine Wheel to my love of kinesiology.

Over the years I’ve developed a thriving practice combining these three approaches. I work with whatever my clients bring – helping them to uncover the ‘story’ of the ‘dis-ease’ they wish to explore.  I am especially passionate about working over time with clients, as they enter the process of integrating and healing past traumas and experiences that might hamper living with freedom and vitality in the now.  These can manifest as physical ‘symptoms’ and the journey often involves witnessing the emotional and spiritual aspects of the story that the client is experiencing on a physical level.

So, I aim to offer a safe and supportive space, within which a journey of trust can develop – both in individual work and with groups.  Alongside my one-to-one practice, I have trained as a teacher with the CK School and run training in our foundation and professional courses, as well as on-going practitioner mentoring & CPD workshops for groups of practitioners and the public.  One of my joys is working with groups of practitioners over time, supporting them in developing the skills they need to work deeply over time with their clients.

Individual sessions in central Exeter, Devon.  Initial sessions last for 1½ hours and cost £65. Subsequent sessions last for 1 hour and cost £50.   Concessions available by negotiation.

I recommend planning for 3 sessions initially, and offer a reduced price for the first 3 sessions for new clients for £145 (saving £20 on the full cost).

'Journeying Over Time With your Clients' - new Mentoring/CPD group for practitioners

I've been working with a group of practitioners for a number of years now, meeting regularly (usually every 6 weeks or so) and exploring how to develop the skills needed to hold deep process with clients over time. Participants have valued this work as a great way to receive mentoring support and enhance skills in a supportive setting.

A new group for 2018 started in March in Exeter.  Practitioners in the group have committed to journeying with a small group of fellow practitioners for a series of workshops.  If you are interested in this way of working, please get in contact and we can discuss the options.

LifeTracking Foundation Kinesiology & Personal Development Series

My next LifeTracking group is likely to start in the autumn just outside Exeter.  If you are interested in taking part, please contact me for more details.

Creative Kinesiology 'Way Of The Tracker' & 'Perceptual Bodywork' Training

I am currently running a Way of the Tracker course, which started in October in Central Exeter.  This course is offered in 7 x 3-day modules and spread over almost a year, completing in September 2018.  If you are interested in this course for 2019, please email me: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Core Subjects

In addition to the foundation and professional courses, I also facilitate 2 core subjects required by students wishing to become fully accredited practitioners: Interpersonal Skills and Practice Management.

I offer mentoring on an individual and group basis and have been approved by the Creative Kinesiology Association & Kinesiology Federation as a recognised mentor.  As such I am able to offer mentoring to practitioners journeying towards becoming a registered kinesiology practitioner. The cost is £50 per one hour individual session.  Group costs vary depending on the length and size of group.

Healing & Self Discovery Journey

This course is designed to give participants the opportunity to embark on a personal journey of healing and self discovery!

  • You will be able to learn more about the world of subtle energy and undertake a personal journey of growth and development.
  • My aim will be to help you identify and work with issues and obstacles that hold you back, clearing the way, so that you can move forwards on your life path.
  • As a group, we will work in a co-creative way, learning through working with the issues and experiences that participants bring.
  • I will be introducing a variety of healing skills and tools from the worlds of Chinese Medicine; Native American Shamanic Healing; Kinesiology; Energy Medicine and Therapeutic Counselling.
  • The group offers a safe and confidential space for participants to explore their journey in a caring and supportive environment, whilst enabling everyone to learn more about listening and witnessing - skills that are invaluable in life.
  • So, it promises to be a dynamic, self-empowering process, as I introduce you to ways of bringing - and maintaining - balance in your everyday life.

I don't currently have dates planned, but if you are interested, please can you contact me to talk about the possibilities.
