SUMMARY:Practice management for complementary health practitioners
DESCRIPTION:With Sarah-Jayne Hayden-Binder AKFRP \n13th-14th December in person\, plus one online session 5.5 hrs in January to be agreed by the group gathered. \nThis is a creative course with a difference\, and is designed to help practitioners of kinesiology or any complimentary therapy or natural health practice to successfully manage and grow their business. \nA key aim is to help the practitioner to know what they are offering as a therapist and to get that message out across the airwaves. \nThe course will be covering aspects of getting your business going\, what you need to know if you are a new practitioner\, as well as maintaining and nurturing your holistic business. \nCourse content \n\n	Your business vision\n	Creating a holistic business plan\n	Material world marketing\n	The 5 Elements and your business\n	The importance of mentoring\n	Money & charging\n	Business growth and maintenance\n	Motivation and stamina – physical & energetic\n	Measuring success & setting goals\n	Overwork and how to recognise burn out\n	Location of your practice\n	Self employment\n	Managing expectations – practitioner and client\n	Managing fears & strategies for success\n\nHome study: \nThis involves the writing of a holistic business plan – in a creative way\, to be completed between teaching sessions. \nCertification: \nOn successful completion of the tuition days and the home study you will be awarded an Practice Management certificate from the School of Creative Kinesiology. \nRecognition: \nThe course covers the syllabus required by the Kinesiology Federation as a core subject.
