Discovering kinesiology in the 1980s, I took as many courses as I could - Touch for Health, Educational Kinesiology and many others. Discovering Haakon Lovell's work - Energy Awareness - helped to change direction to one of kinesiology creativity. I founded the Creative Kinesiology School in 1991 and haven't looked back!
Individual work with people is still the backbone of my teaching work. My clients are my teachers as together we work out what is happening for them and find the way through - this is the tracking work of Creative Kinesiology. I still completely love the work after all these years.
I see clients, teach, mentor practitioners and have recently written a book 'Way of the Tracker'. The book outlines the tracking work of CK and how it developed from the early beginnings. It describes the depths that a journey of healing and help may take - of body, mind and spirit. Included are insights about the work of CK and some top tips for helping yourself.
My list of therapies includes:
Creative Kinesiology; Reiki healing; Counselling; Massage
I am a mentor for kinesiologists. I believe this is vital for practitioners for improving and maintaining their professional expertise as they work with clients and teach.
I offer mentoring to Creative Kinesiologists and other kinesiologists; to teachers and other practitioners.
I have been teaching since 1987. I have taught foundation courses, professional courses, Continuing Professional Development courses and also I teach the teachers. Supporting the Creative Kinesiology teachers is part of this role.
