I started my journey with kinesiology back in 2003 when I took Touch for Health 1-4. I loved that it satisfied both sides of my brain, as at that time I was firmly planted in the world of mainstream science and yet had always had a sense of 'the magic of being alive' since very young.
I continued with Way of the Tracker and Perceptual Bodywork professional training and now see clients mainly at The Centre in Crediton, 48b High Street, Crediton, Devon EX17 3JT, a centre I have run since 2007. I still think that it's complete magic that a muscle 'locks' when it has had what is needed to bring balance. It's awesome! I specialise in working with children, and have an increasing knowledge (and personal experience with one of my children) of Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, learning challenges and Auditory Processing Disorder.
Having repeated Way of the Tracker and undertaken the CK school's teacher training programme, I now teach the LifeTracking Foundation Course, Way of the Tracker professional training, Practice Management for Complementary Health Practitioners, the Five Element Nutrition for Kinesiologists core subject (headed by Carol Lee) and am developing CPDs.
Since 2008 I have also been training in the principles and practices of the Ancient Medicine Wheel of the America's. This provides a wonderful map and awesome tools for working through issues that life brings up for us.
As a mentor I will work beside you on your practice and your own personal development. Issues such as keeping good boundaries, keeping a practice running alongside other life commitments and supporting you to flourish in your personal area of expertise often are addressed.
I specialise in small groups (up to six) in my role as a teacher. I love working with students to find their unique take on the work, helping them to discover their way forward that is really authentic for them.
