Releasing trauma; Working with the Vagus Nerve – Online Course

Trauma affects us all. None of us have had a perfect life – yet we have survived, something to congratulate ourselves on! However, some of the accidents, wounds and hurts from the past could well be affecting us in present time. Some of us have even inherited trauma from our ancestors. The end result can be a paralysing fear, which may not be conscious yet held as memories that are held deep within the body and bodily systems particularly in the nervous system’s Vagus Nerve. This fear can be affecting our body, mind, emotions and spirit. The natural healing approach offered by this course can truly help to change these old patterns from the past so we can walk the path that is the one for us.
Based on the work of Stephen Porges and others we can understand how trauma can become embodied and cause pain, low energy or relationship difficulties for instance. Using the tracking approach, this course introduces some useful methods of testing for trauma and associated parts of the energy and physical systems. We shall look at ways to detect the problems and then to release the trauma, using simple balancing approaches.
During this course you will learn how to recognise and test for Vagus Nerve imbalance with its associated trauma, plus some great natural ways of restoring balance. We can then aim for being the best we can be, reaching for our goals in life.
A four-part workshop:
Part One: Sunday 27th November and Monday 28th November 2022
Part Two: Friday January 20th 2023
Part Three: Home study – completing two case studies is required
Part Four: two personal / mentoring sessions that can take place any time once you have completed at least one case study.
Times: 10am to 12.30 and 1.30 to 4pm each of the three days.
